Baby, run do not walk but more importantly make a reservation. The drinks are good and the food is amazing!!! We always stan a black owned restaurant, but in general Just Spoons know what they are doing. The service is polite, the food comes fast and it is PHENOMENAL. An overall vibe, but be sure to make a reservation because the waitlist will have you waiting.

My and my man went here on Valentine's day and it was such a vibe! We had a reservation and arrived like 20 mins early to make sure we were seated on time. I got the fried catfish with grits, absolutely delicious, My bf got the fried salmon with potatoes and he loved it. the Lips Poppin Lemonade (I think that's what it was called) was sooooo good. Get the honey butter croissant/ biscuit you won't regret it! The service was great too our server was very nice. 10/10

Black-owned Southern soul food breakfast spot that is always busy! I can finally see why! Made a decision to try and dine here the weekend of my birthday. My BFF and I stopped in for brunch on our way to a staycation down south. Without a reservation, it took an hour to wait for a table but once we got in we admired the decor and ambiance of the venue. Service was friendly and fairly quickly. I ordered the shrimp and Grits (seasonal offering) and a honey biscuit that unfortunately never came out. The food was delicious, served hot and a pretty decent portion sized for price and value. We opted out of ordering drinks since there wasn't a full bar and the drinks seemed sweeter than we would like and a trad bit pricier than we would prefer. Gratuity is included on your tab. I'd recommend Just Spoons and plan on visiting again!

Unbelievably delicious comfort food. Just what South Florida needs for an indulgent breakfast spot inspired by southern cooking. I no longer have to travel to ATL, HTX, etc. for the breakfast style of food I love. I made reservations prior to our visit and we were sat immediately upon arrival. Very organized. Food- For my order, I went with the The Witherspoon Tour, 10/10. Every last bite. Everything was cooked to perfection. The ingredients taste very fresh. The Cajun Fried Chicken was my favorite on my platter. The honey mustard dipping to top it off, chef's kiss. Perfect combo of sweet and salty. My sister had The Champ Sandwich, she thoroughly enjoyed her dish. Keep in mind, this was her 3rd visit to Just Spoons. Drink- Tropical Twist Lemonade 10/10. Very sweet. Happy there aren't refills on this tbh lol. I'll leave with diabetes after my 10th refill. Inside is very cozy and intimate. The servers are pleasant and not overbearing. You respectfully get what you pay for meaning you leave with a full tummy. I LOVED my first visit here and I will excitedly come back! If you were on the fence, let this review be your sign to dine.

First brunch of the New Year! We grabbed a reservation online. I can't stress this enough. This place gets packed. The wait will be long. I ordered the French toast platter. So good! So fresh! Our server, Mo, was great explaining each dish and even the drinks. Great vibe. Lots of people celebrating left and right. So many flavors on this menu. You can't go wrong! Splitting the check was super easy! They add a 20% gratuity. FYI - there's a charge for extra syrup, hot sauce, "honey mustard," etc. can't say I'm surprised though!

The atmosphere is unmatched. You immediately feel at home the moment you walk in. The music, and the service wrap you up, and everyone who steps through their doors feels like a VIP member at a Brooklyn spot! The DJ and music selection is on point. But the star is the food. We had two Champ Samplers -- and Oh my God!!! Everything was incredible delicious. The flavors are unmatched. Shout out to champ, manager, and Mohammed, our server, who took great care of us. To sum it up, we are definitely coming back, again, and again, and again.

This was our first time visiting Just Spoons Cafe and WOW! First off, either make a reservation or what we did was arrive 20 minutes prior to opening and line up outside. Luckily, we were second in line and were seated within 5 minutes. The waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive as was every other staff member we encountered. There is a 1hr time limit on tables and that made me nervous at first but everything from food to drinks came out so quickly it wasn't an issue. We both ordered French toast but I opted for their "Butta Pecan" while my boyfriend went with "Vanilla Bean" and neither disappointed. I was also apprehensive about French toast costing $26 but when I saw my plate piled with four big pieces of chicken breast I was shocked. They also serve the chicken with a cup of their take on honey mustard which made the chicken that much better. Another thing to note before coming is that they automatically add 20% gratuity no matter the size of your party. For reference, we were a party of two.

I've decided I am no longer waiting for people to try new places. I'm also not waiting for people to travel with me, if I set my mind to do something i'm going to do it& i love that mindset for me. I've been dying to try this place for over 3 years and my friends have flaked consistently. So today I came here alone before my doctor appointment. I had one of the best waitresses I've ever came across. Shaniyan was my waitress and she was phenomenal. I felt like i was having my own dining experience. She really took her time telling me the favs. She also was so kind. I literally fell in love with her lol. She was so attentive to me throughout my whole experience. I almost felt like I was the only one in the restaurant. The vibes here are so nice the music they play are considered "car riding slow jams." This spot is in a plaza on Broward Blvd and University. Parking is decent. What I Ordered _________________ Catfish & Gouda/Cheddar Grits: 10/10 Price: $29.00 +Catfish description on the menu says "boneless, skinless, and fried to perfection." Does it live up to the hype? Yesss these are delicious wow! So crispy yet so moist on the inside. The crystals hot sauce really sets it off for me. +The Gouda/Cheddar Grits are so creamy in texture. Just velvety and so comforting. The sharpness of the cheddar melts into the grits, creating a velvety consistency that coats your spoon perfectly. Each bite has that balance of cheesy flavor with a subtle buttery finish. This was a 10 across the board. "Honey Butta Croissant" : 10/10 This is so warm and delicious! Literally it feels like a marshmallow in my mouth. It's so gooey people. I need like 12 of these. The balance of honey and butter is perfection! I wanted to go to sleep after eating just 1. "Lips Poppin Lemonade": 10/10 Price: $8.00 Ingredients- Mango, Pineapple, Lemonade Garnish, Lime. Baby, this is so refreshing! The pieces of mango, the lime, and lemon infusing through this ice cold drink is remarkable. I want more of this please and thanks!
